Fort Sutter 9, Fair Oaks 7 (League: 11-3, Overall: 15-4) - June 25 @ Renfree Field - A grand slam home run in the top of the seventh inning broke open a 5-5 tie and sent Fair Oaks down to an eventual 9-7 defeat at the hands of Fort Sutter.
    The Oaks had led the entire game, taking a 1-0 lead in the second and building a 4-0 margin by the fourth inning.
    Sutter, however, came back to score twice in the fifth to make it 4-2 and then added a run in the sixth for a 4-3 game.
    The Oaks opened the lead back to two at 5-3 with a single run in the bottom of the inning only to have Sutter explode for six runs in the top of the seventh for a 9-5 advantage.
    With reliever Garrett Schoenfelder on the mound and the Oaks leading 5-4, Sutter loaded the bases and brought home the tying run on a bunt.
    A grand slam home run followed to push Sutter out in front 9-5. The Oaks came back with a pair of runs in the bottom of the inning, but couldn't catch up, losing the game by a final 9-7 score.
