Fair Oaks 4, Post 61 0 (League: 7-1, Overall: 9-1) - June 21 @ Land Park #1 - Fair Oaks jumped out to a 2-0 lead over Post 61 en route to a 4-0 win over the Sacramento team.
    The Oaks' first two runs came as shortstop Ricky Alonso led off the first by getting hit by a pitch. Second baseman Aaron Yurchak followed with a triple to left field to score Alonso and then Yurchak scored on catcher Doug Matlack's single to left to make it 2-0.
    The Oaks added a single run in the fourth as right fielder Mike Wright got a two out hit to left center. With left fielder Tim Cook at the plate, a wild pitch sent Wright to second. Cook then followed with a hit to left to score Wright and make it 3-0.
    The Oaks' final run came in the fifth as Matlack walked with two out. He moved to third as third baseman Joe Liebman popped behind second. The ball fell between three players. Center fielder L.J. Sneath then followed with a little head-high pop liner to second. The second baseman couldn't pick the ball up, however, and Matlack scored to give the Oaks a 4-0 lead.
    Fair Oaks starter Dan Gemma shut down Post 61 the rest of the way to pick up the shutout and complete game victory.
