Fair Oaks 4, Haggin Grant 2 (League: 12-1, Overall: 15-1) - July 2 @ William Land Park - Two runs in the sixth inning lifted the Fair Oaks Oaks to a 4-2 victory over Haggin Grant at William Land Park.
    Haggin Grant went up 1-0 in the opening inning as starting pitcher Alex Graham gave up a one out walk and a triple to spot the opponents a one run lead. Graham shut down Haggin Grant in the second and then struck out the first two batters he faced in the third before giving up a home run to left field as Haggin Grant stretched their led to 2-0.
    The Oaks got a run back in the bottom of the third as left fielder Tim Cook beat out a throw on a ground ball to second for a one out hit. With two outs and catcher Doug Matlack at the plate, Cook stole second. Matlack then struck out, but the ball got away from the catcher and Matlack beat the throw to first, with Cook moving to third on the play. Center fielder L.J. Sneath then hit a high fly to right field that dropped in and allowed Cook to score to make it 2-1.
    Fair Oaks tied the game in the fifth inning as Cook again started things off by drawing a one out walk. He moved to second on shortstop Ricky Alonso's ground ball back to the pitcher and then scored as Matlack popped a ball into short center field that dropped in.
    The Oaks went into the lead in the sixth as first baseman Joe Liebman led off with a hit to left field. He moved to second on a bunt back to the pitcher by second baseman Aaron Yurchak. Consecutive walks to designated hitter Mike Wright and right fielder Matt Pudge then loaded the bases and another walk to pinch hitter Bob Churchill forced in Liebman to make it 3-2. Cook, the next batter, got a hit to left to score Wright and the Oaks owned a 4-2 lead.
    Graham put Haggin Grant down in order in the top of the seventh to gain the complete game victory.
