Southside 12, Fair Oaks 2 (League: 15-2, Overall: 20-5) - July 14 @ Sacramento City College - After losing a close game to Yolo the previous day, Fair Oaks was crushed by eventual District 6 champion Southside on Saturday, eliminating Post 383 from the tournament.
The Oaks' usually strong pitching faltered as Southside broke open a 5-4 game with a seven run seventh inning, invoking the tournament's 10-run rule and sending the Oaks down to a 12-2 defeat.
Despite the loss, the Oaks still had a fine season, winning the American Division championship and recording a 15-2 league record, 20-5 overall.
