Petaluma 8, Fair Oaks 6 (League: 7-0, Overall: 10-4) - June 25 @ Bella Vista High - Fair Oaks lost its fourth non-league game of the season with an 8-6 defeat at the hands of visiting Petaluma.
    The Oaks led 5-0 going into the top of the fourth inning, when Petaluma got three runs. Two more scored in the top of the fifth, but the Oaks still held a 6-5 advantage after scoring a lone run in the bottom of the fourth.
    Petaluma scored three times in the seventh off Derek Chase who had relieved starter Mike Zeleski in the sixth. Four errors contributed to the Fair Oaks loss.
