Fair Oaks 11, Southside 8 (League: 2-0, Overall: 3-0) - June 7 @ McAullife Field - Fair Oaks survived a six-run rally by Southside in the seventh inning to escape with an 11-8 victory in a non-league contest at McAullife Field.
    The Oaks held a 6-0 lead through the first four innings before Southside began chipping away at their lead. Leading 11-2 going into the final inning, Southside scored six times to pull within three runs at 11-8, before Steve Snider came in for the save in relief of Kris Wright. Mike Zeleski picked up the win for the Oaks and was the starting pitcher, hurling six strong innings. L.J. Sneath was the Oaks' top hitter, going 4-for-4 with a double and four RBI.
