First baseman Manny Parra then walked and designated hitter Dan Gemma got a hit to left that loaded the bases. With two outs, shortstop Derek Chase walked to force in Matlack to make it a 2-2 game and then with second baseman Larry Lomascola at the plate, a wild pitch that was high and hit off the catcher's glove allowed Parra to come home to give the Oaks a 3-2 lead.
