PICTURES ADDED - Some action pictures and/or player
photos have been added to most of the game stories. We're sorry there
aren't more action photos, but a number of them just didn't turn out
well when scanned into the computer. CONGRATULATIONS TO YOLO
- After winning the Area 1 Playoffs, Yolo went on to finish fourth in
the State Playoffs. Congratulations to Manager Matt Castles, the Yolo
coaches and team. OAKS/VACAVILLE GAME UP
- The story for the Fair Oaks-Vacaville game is now up. We will be
making adjustments to the page over the coming week, adding some
pictures, and hopefully posting final stats for the team, as well. The
page will remain up until the end of the year when it will be moved to
the "Old Stuff" section. OAKS ELIMINATED! -
Fair Oaks lost to the Vacaville Dodgers 7-1 on Sunday and were
eliminated from the Area 1 playoffs. Game details and updates will be

- Behind nine shutout innings by pitcher Robert Barrett, the Fair Oaks
Oaks (Post 383) won the District 6 championship over Yolo Post 77 by a
score of 9-0 at Union Field, Sacramento City College. Both teams will
now advance to the Area 1 playoffs that start July 26 in Yountville. DISTRICT 6 2001 ALL-STARS
