The Oaks were eliminated from the Area 1 Tournament Sunday after losing
to Yolo by a score of 12-9. The Oaks had the bases loaded in the ninth
inning, but couldn't bring in the tying or go ahead runs. OAKS BEAT EUREKA -
Fair Oaks defeated Eureka 12-4 Saturday to stay alive in the Area 1
Tournament in Yountville. The Oaks will next face the winner of the
Yolo vs. B & L Properties game in a 1 p.m. contest on Sunday. OAKS ARE DIST. 6 CHAMPS
- For the second straight year, Fair Oaks Post 383 beat Yolo Post 77
for the District 6 Championship. Unlike last year's 9-0 victory, this
year the Oaks won 2-1 with a complete-game pitching performance from
Garrett Holtzen and a home run from center fielder Bill Rhinehart. The
Oaks now move on to the Area 1 Championship in Yountville scheduled for
