Fair Oaks 5, Post 61 2 (League: 11-4, Overall: 11-4) - June 19 @ Bella Vista High - The Oaks evened their season series with Post 61 at two games each with a 5-2 victory over 61 at Bella Vista High.
    Oaks starter Tyler Robertson put Post 61 down in order in the top of the first - including two strikeouts - but Post 61 came back in the third to score twice to take an early lead on a pair of errors, a walk to pitcher Russ Hocking and a hit by left fielder Jason Roach to right field.

    The Oaks got one run back in the bottom of the third as shortstop Josh Thompson got a one out double to center field. With first baseman Mickey Weisser at the plate, a passed ball sent Thompson to third and he scored on Weisser's double to right to make it a 2-1 contest.
    Fair Oaks broke the game open in the fourth with four runs. Second baseman Larry Lomascola walked to lead off the inning and then with one out, designated hitter Matt Schirmer hit a ball to second that went for an error and put two runners on. With two outs, center fielder Steve Snider got a hit to right to score Lomascola, and then Thompson hit a ball to right that got by the right fielder and scored both Schirmer and Snider to make it 4-2. Weisser added a hit to center to score Thompson to give the Oaks a 5-2 lead.
    Robertson allowed only two walks and a hit over the next three innings to shut Post 61 down en route to a complete-game victory and Fair Oaks' 11th win of the season.
