Fair Oaks 4, Folsom 1 (League: 15-6, Overall: 15-6) - June 30 @ Bella Vista High - After trailing for much of the game, Fair Oaks scored four runs in the sixth inning - including a three-run homer by A. J. Vidlund - to defeat Folsom 4-1 at Bella Vista High School.
Charles Smith
After giving up a leadoff walk, two hits and a run to start the game, Oaks starter Charles Smith settled down and held Folsom scoreless the rest of the way, striking out nine en route to the complete-game victory.     The Oaks were held scoreless until the sixth inning when they scored the tying run and set up Vidlund's home run to take the lead.
Shortstop Josh Thompson led off the inning with a hit to center field and then with one out and right fielder Bill Rhinehart at the plate, Thompson stole second. Rhinehart was hit by a pitch and then Smith aided his own cause with a ball deep to center that bounced over the fence for a ground rule double scoring Thompson from second.
With two runners on, Vidlund came to the plate and bashed the ball over the center field fence to make it a 4-1 game in favor of the Oaks.
Smith retired Folsom in order in the top of the seventh and the Oaks recorded the 4-1 victory.
