B&L Properties 8, Fair Oaks 3 (League: 16-7, Overall: 18-9) - July 5 @ Wooster High School, Reno, NV. - The Oaks lost their shot at the Peppermill Championship with an 8-3 loss to B&L Properties of Fairfield at Wooster High School in Reno, Nevada.
    In an early see-saw battle, Fair Oaks took a 1-0 lead in the first inning only to have B&L came back with a pair of runs in the second. Fair Oaks retook the lead in the third with two runs of their own, but that would be it for Post 383.
    B&L scored five times in the fifth before starting pitcher Charles Smith could get an out and went on for an 8-3 victory over the Oaks.
    Larry Lomascola had a pair of hits for Faie Oaks and Smith added a double to lead Post 383's hitting.
