Fair Oaks 14, Rio Loma 5 (League: 17-7, Overall: 19-10) - July 8 @ El Camino High School - The Oaks closed out their regular season in convincing fashion with a big 14-5 victory over Rio Loma at El Camino High School.
Fair Oaks led 1-0 after two innings and then used a big third where they scored seven times to take command of the game.
Tyler Robertson took the win with relief help from Brian Janowiak in the seventh. Bill Rhinehart led the Oaks at the plate going 3x4 with a home run. Mickey Weisser went 2x4, also with a home run. Larry Lomascola added three hits in four trips to the plate with a double and A.J. Vidlund also added a pair of hits. Matt Schirmer rounded out the top hitters with a double in the game.
