Mickey Weisser drove in two runs in the Oaks' 3-0 victory over Manhart including a solo home run in the third inning.

Fair Oaks 3, Manhart 0 (League: 4-2, Overall: 4-2) - June 2 @ Bella Vista High - Fair Oaks won its third straight game to improve its season record to 4-2 with a 3-0 victory over Manhart at Bella Vista High School.
    Charles Smith, in his first start of the year, held Manhart scoreless through five innings and Tyler Robertson came in to pitch a strong final two innings to close out the game and give the Oaks the victory.
    Post 383 got their first run of the game in the bottom of the third inning after two were out as Mickey Weisser powered the ball over the right center field fence for a solo home run and a 1-0 lead.
    The Oaks scored twice in the fifth for their final two runs of the game as catcher Joe Gaggero led off with a hit to right. With shortstop Derek Chase at the plate, Gaggero was off and running as Chase hit the ball to short. The play went to first for the first out of the inning and the Oaks had a runner in scoring position.
    With two out, Weisser got a hit to center for his second RBI of the game as Gaggero came home to score and make it 2-0. Weisser stole second with right fielder Bill Rhinehart at the plate and then scored as Rhinehart sent the ball into center field for a double to make it 3-0 in favor of the Oaks.
    Robertson took the mound in the top of the sixth, sending Manhart down in order and despite a mini-rally in the top of the seventh with Manhart getting two consecutive hits after two were out, Robertson threw a ground ball to second for the force and the Oaks got the 3-0 win.
