The Oaks overcame a 7-1 first inning lead by the No. Humboldt Giants
with five runs in the sixth and six in the seventh en route to a 20-10
victory in the winner's bracket of the Area 1 Tournament in Eureka.
Andrew Leduc and Jason Lomascola each had a home run
for the Oaks, while Brian Garber pitched eight strong innings in relief
to get the win. Fair Oaks must now face the Napa Riverdogs - the only
other undefeated team left in the tourney - in a 7:30 p.m. contest
Friday night.
