Kyle Richardson leads off first base after a fifth inning hit in the Oaks 12-1 victory over Sacramento Post 391 on Sunday at Bella Vista High School.

Fair Oaks 12, Sacramento 1 (League: 4-1, Overall: 8-1-1) - June 4 @ Bella Vista - Fair Oaks completed a three-game series sweep of Sacramento Post 391 with a 12-1 victory at Bella Vista High School.
The Oaks got all the runs they'd need in the first, scoring four times after starting pitcher Keith Jennette sent Sacramento down in order in the top of the inning.
Right fielder Steve Rinaudo led off with a hit to third. The ball got away from the third baseman on a tough play and Rinaudo was safe at first. Center fielder Kyle Richardson followed with a hit to left center. Rinaudo was running on the play and made it all the way to third. Third baseman Abel Alcantar then got a hit to right to score Rinaudo for a 1-0 lead. First baseman Tyler Robertson followed with a hit to right to score Richardson and then with one out, designated hitter Robert Butler sent a high fly to left. Sacramento's left fielder appeared to have a bead on the ball, but then lost it in the sun and it fell in for a double which scored Robertson to make it 3-0.  Fair Oaks' final run of the inning scored as catcher Bret Gibson hit a ball to short. Gibson was thrown out at first, but left fielder Mike Sanchez, who earlier reached base on a fielder's choice, scored to make it a 4-0 game.
Another Fair Oaks run crossed the plate in the second as second baseman Greg Polanski led off with a hit to right. Sacramento's right fielder was slow picking the ball up and Polanski capitalized and took second. Rinaudo followed with a hit to left and then Polanski scored on a Richardson hit to left to make it 5-0.
A third inning leadoff triple by Butler followed by a double by Gibson scored another Oaks run for a 6-0 margin and forced a Sacramento pitching change. Shortstop Chris Dennison was the next batter, sending a ball to short. The throw to first got away and Gibson scored to make it 7-0.
John Constance replaced Jennette on the mound in the fourth and sent Post 391 down in order. The Oaks came back in the fifth for three more runs as Gibson led off with a walk. With Dennison at the plate, a wild pitch and passed ball moved Gibson to third and he scored on a tough play at short as the fielder tried to catch the ball going away and dropped it. Polanski followed with a hit to left and both runners advanced on a wild pitch with Trevor Lewis at the plate. Lewis struck out, but then a hit to left by Richardson scored Dennison to make it  9-0. Another Sacramento pitching change followed, but the new hurler hit the first batter he faced - Justin Wilson - to load the bases. A fly ball to right by Chris Johnson allowed Polanski to score to make it a 10-0 lead.
Sacramento finally got a run - their first and only of the series - in the sixth inning after a hit batter and pair of hits brought a runner across the plate.
Mark Lincoln took the mound for the Oaks in the top of the seventh, allowing only a leadoff walk before recording the next three outs. Fair Oaks came back in the bottom of the inning to score its 11th run of the game as Polanski led off with a hit to center. Lewis followed with a hit to left and the ball got away in the outfield sending Polanski to third and Lewis to second. With one out, Wilson got a hit to left to score Polanski for the 11-1 lead.
The Oaks final run scored in the eighth off Sacramento's fourth pitcher of the game. Sanchez led off with a walk and then Lincoln hit a ball to third, beating the throw to first for a hit. Ryan Appledorn, who came in to catch in the top of the sixth, followed with a hit to right to load the bases and then Sanchez scored as the next batter - Dennison - was hit by a pitch to force the runner in.
Sacramento went out in order in the top of the ninth as Fair Oaks recorded the 12-1 victory to improve to 4-1 in league play.
