Brian Garber sends a pitch toward a Sacramento Post 391 batter in the Oaks 9-0 win. The victory completed a sweep of their weekend doubleheader and improved the Oaks to 3-1 in league play.

Fair Oaks 9, Sacramento 0 (League: 3-1, Overall: 7-1-1) - June 3 @ William Land Park - Fair Oaks wrapped up a doubleheader sweep of Sacramento Post 391 with a 9-0 victory at William Land Park.
The Oaks got a 2-0 lead in the first as center fielder Kyle Richardson led off with a double to center field. Consecutive walks followed to second baseman Greg Polanski and first baseman Tyler Robertson to load the bases and then Richardson and Polanski scored on designated hitter Andrew LeDuc's hit to center field.
Fair Oaks added another run in the third as catcher Bret Gibson was hit by a pitch with one out. Left fielder Jesse Olson followed with a hit down the third base line and then Gibson scored as right fielder Chris Johnson hit a ball that went off the shortstop's glove for an error.
This resulted in a Sacramento pitching change, but the new hurler immediately got himself in trouble as he hit third baseman Justin Wilson to load the bases. Sacramento managed to wiggle out of the inning, however, with no further runs scoring.
The Oaks added three more runs in the sixth as Wilson and shortstop Chris Dennison started off the inning with back-to-back singles. With one out, Abel Alcantar tripled to right field to score both runners to make it a 5-0 game. With two outs, LeDuc doubled to left to score Alcantar to make it 6-0 and force another Sacramento pitching change. John Constance went in to run for LeDuc and scored on a Gibson hit to right to make it 7-0.
Fair Oaks scored its final two runs in the seventh. With one out, Wilson doubled to center and then Dennison hit a ball toward third that took a high hop over the fielder's glove to put two runners on.
Richardson was the next batter and he sent a triple into deep right to score both Wilson and Dennison. Richardson rounded third and tried to make for home, but was thrown out at the plate for the second out of the inning. Alcantar was retired on a pop to third to end the inning with the Oaks leading 9-0.
Pitcher Brian Garber sent Sacramento down in order in the bottom of the seventh to pick up the complete-game victory. The win improved Fair Oaks' record to 3-1 in league play, 7-1-1 overall.
