John Constance struck out three and held Folsom to only four hits as he
pitched a complete-game victory over the Flames in the District 6
Playoffs at Clark Field in Woodland.
The game remained a scoreless duel until the sixth
inning when Fair Oaks scored three runs to take the lead. Charlie
Roberston had a two-run double, with Troy Spivey adding an RBI single
to account for the runs.
The Oaks knocked in one more run in the eighth to
seal the win and advance to Friday's winner's bracket game at 7:30 p.m.
at Sacramento City College.
