Fair Oaks 13, No. Humboldt 0 (League: 14-4, Overall: 32-10) - July 25 @ Doryland Field, Chico - Mike Sanchez hit two doubles, a home run, and had five RBI and John Constance pitched a complete game four-hitter as Fair Oaks rolled to a 13-0 victory in its opening game of the 2007 Area 1 Playoffs in Chico.
    The game was called after seven innings due to the tournament's 10-Run Rule as the Oaks built a 7-0 lead after three innings and led 11-0 after six. Fair Oaks capped the game off with another pair of runs in the top of the seventh and the Northern Humboldt Giants fell in both teams' opener.
    The win moved the Oaks into a winner's bracket game against Vacaville on Thursday at 7:30 p.m.. Vacaville was a 7-5 winner over Chico in a late game on Wednesday.
    Yolo and El Dorado were also first round winners, with Yolo taking down Redding 13-6 and El Dorado beating Red Bluff 12-2.
    Yolo will face El Dorado in a winner's bracket game at 4 p.m. on Thursday. All games are played at Chico's Dorlyand Field.
