Vacaville 9, Fair Oaks 3 (League: 14-4, Overall: 32-11)
- July 26 @ Doryland Field, Chico - Vacaville took a
4-0 lead after three innings and never looked back as the Oaks lost a
9-3 decision to fall into the loser's bracket at the Area 1 Playoffs in
Chico.
Fair Oaks outhit Vacaville 11 to 8, but also
committed five errors. Ben Schwefel had a home run for the Oaks and
Troy Spivey, Bret Gibson and Mike Sanchez each contributed two hits.
