1 Playoffs by a score of 8-3. The Oaks finished their 2007 season with
a 32-12 record. Post 383's 44 games this season set a new mark for most
games played by an Oaks team. The previous record of 43 was set in 1997
when the Oaks recorded a 33-10 mark. VACAVILLE KNOCKS OFF OAKS -Vacaville knocked off Fair Oaks Post 383 tonight by a
score of 9-3 in the winner's bracket of the Area 1 Playoffs in Chico.
The loss sends the Oaks to a 4 p.m. game against Redding on Friday.
Vacaville will face Yolo, a 5-4 winner over El Dorado, in the 7:30 p.m.
contest Friday. The winner of that game is guaranteed a spot in the

Doryland Field from Bella Vista High School in Fair Oaks. OAKS BLAST N. HUMBOLDT - Fair
Oaks beat
their first round opponent No. Humboldt by a score of 13-0 at the Area
1 Playoffs at Doryland Field in Chico. The game only went seven innings
due to the tournament's 10-Run Rule. The win keeps the Oaks in the
winner's bracket where they will face Vacaville tonight (Thursday) at
7:30 p.m. YOLO TAKES D6 TITLE - Fair Oaks lost its bid to repeat
as D6 champs as Yolo Post 77 defeated the Oaks Saturday night 10-3 at
Sacramento City College. Both teams now advance to to the Area 1
Playoffs in Chico. Yolo will play the District 2/3 winner at 10
a.m., while Fair Oaks will play the District 1 winner at 4 p.m.
