Oaks started out the 2008 WABF Tournament in Fairfield with a victory
over West Sacramento, 8-4.
The Oaks took a 3-0 lead in the second and never
looked back, building a 8-0 advantage by the seventh. West Sacramento
put four runs on the board in the bottom of the seventh, but the rally
fell short and the Oaks held on for the win.
Bryce Bandilla homered for the Oaks and Charlie
Robertson went 3-for-4 to lead the team in hitting.
