The Oaks went up 1-0 in the first inning as shortstop Cameron Barr got a one out double to left field. Barr stole third on a strikeout by designated hitter Bret Gibson and then scored as left fielder Josh Glaser hit a ground ball to short, beating the throw to first for a hit.
Fair Oaks added seven more runs in the second as Post 383 sent 11 hitters to the plate. First baseman Charlie Robertson started things off with a hit to center field, followed  by a walk to second baseman Andrew Gutierez. With one out, catcher Ryan McCutchan got a hit to left to load the bases and then Robertson and Gutierez scored on a hit up the middle by center fielder Jon Lang. The next batter, Barr, tripled to right field to score McCutchan and Lang to make it 5-0 and then Barr also came home to score as the throw to third got away giving the Oaks a 6-0 lead.
Gibson followed with a hit up the middle and consecutive hits to left by  Glaser and third baseman Taylor Sanders again loaded the bases for Post 383. Robertson, batting for his second time in the inning, got another hit to right field to score Gibson and Glaser to make it an 8-0 game.
Tomson Cabinetry's only runs of the game came in the top of the third after two were out. With a pair of base runners on, a passed ball brought home one run and the other scored on a hit to center field to make it 8-2.
