B&L Properties 4, Fair Oaks 2 (League: 11-1, Overall: 22-7-1) - July 2 @ Laurel Creek Park, Fairfield - Despite five errors by B&L Properties, Fair Oaks Post 383 dropped a 4-2 decision to the host team at the Western Amateur Baseball Federation Tournament in Fairfield Thursday night.

    The Oaks took a brief lead in the third with a single run, only to have B&L come back to score two to take the advantage away from Post 383. The Oaks tied the game in the sixth, but once again B&L doubled Fair Oaks' run output with two more runs for the final 4-2 score. Ryan Hall doubled for the Oaks in the game.

    The loss dropped Fair Oaks to 1-3 in the tournament's Round-Robin Seeding Round, probably clinching a No. 3 seed in the tournament's Blue Division.

    When the Oaks play on Saturday will be dependent on the outcome of tonight's games, but Fair Oaks will probably play at either 10 a.m. or 4 p.m. depending on which teams finish as the Red Division's  No. 1 and No. 2 seeds.
